Jeff Redlawsk Bio
Jeff began his musical journey at age 11, playing traditional jazz standards and dance music in his father’s band. “Dad always kept me on my toes, demanding good time and teaching me to listen to everything going on around me,” he recalls.
Since then, Jeff has built a diverse and accomplished career as a drummer. He has performed on hundreds of studio recordings, including two Grammy-nominated projects. His recent work includes performances with the national touring company of Wicked and the world premiere of The Hippest Trip at the Tony Rembe Theater in San Francisco. Additional credits include Frozen, The Lion King, South Pacific, Spamalot, Rent (first national tour) Ragtime, and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
In addition to performing, Jeff arranged and recorded Portraits for Drum Set by Anthony J. Cirone for Alfred Music Publications. Recently, he finished 13 years as a classroom music teacher at Keys School in Palo Alto, California, where he developed a comprehensive general music program and conducted a choir and two orchestras. He holds a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from San Jose State University.
